The year 1948 marked the beginning of Bible Baptist Church with its formal organization on August 19th, at the conclusion of an open-air revival. The services were conducted in an open field at 67th and Avenue Q. The guest speaker was Evangelist Frank Godsoe and Rev. S. R. Belew was called as the founding pastor.
During the 75+ years our church has seen growth and loss, but there is still much to do.
